Don Honey’s Wedding Potatoes

Creamy, cheesy and buttery potatoes with all your down home favorites, including a corn flake topping! Perfect for any family celebration — including tonight’s dinner.


  • 1/2 cup melted unsalted butter
  • 2 lb. package frozen hash brown potatoes
, defrosted
  • 1 can cream of chicken or mushroom soup
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 pint sour cream
  • 1/4 tsp. freshly ground pepper
  • 2 cups grated cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion (or dehydrated minced or grated onion)
  • 2 cups Barbara’s Fruit Juice Sweetened Corn Flakes



Preheat oven to 350° F.

Measure and crush Barbara’s Corn Flakes with l/4 cup melted butter for topping. Combine potatoes with remaining melted margarine. Add remaining ingredients except Barbara’s Corn Flakes topping. Mix well and place in a 9 x 13 inch casserole dish. Cover with topping and bake for 45 minutes or until bubbling.
